Dirty Taco

This photo was taken at the National Solar Observatory on Sacramento Peak just east of Alamogordo. The visitors center, located at 9,000′ and covered in a foot of snow, advertises that it’s open daily from 8am until 5pm. That’s probably true… except for today apparently. Horseshit. I trudged around in the snow for a while, but it turned out that there wasn’t much up there to photograph. I grabbed this on the way back to my truck. Sexy.
