I’ve been playing hockey for YEARS. Funny thing is that this is maybe the fifth picture of me playing the sport… ever. Yeah, seriously. My dad took these last week while my team was enroute to a shootout win.

Cabinets, Countertops, Carpet, Tile
The other day I went and chose the colors and materials for my house. 20″ tile, Beechwood cabinets stained to Ebony, “Tan and Brown” granite and a light brownish carpet. It’s going to be glorious when it all comes together.
Preconstruction
This is the lot my house will be built on. The builder requested the building permit this past Tuesday and I’m told construction should commence within two weeks. You can expect regular photos of the place as it goes up.
Model Home 2
Just another shot of the kitchen/dining area of the model of the home I’ll be buying. More later.
Model Kitchen
I’m buying a house. Great floor plan, great deal and it is scheduled to be completed at the end of June. 2,246 square feet, four bedrooms, big loft… This is a two-shot pano of the kitchen in the model. Today I went and chose my own cabinets, tile, etc. There’s some parallax in the panorama; you can see it at the top in the middle. Whatever. I’ll post pictures of parts of the rest of the house in coming days.
ASBC, Tony
Tony Ziegler. Not much to say here, but caught this image in the middle of an Icarus game his team went on to win. Fun stuff. We’ve been following each other around the Air Force since OTS.
Meet Izzy
This is the single most neurotic dog I’ve ever met. One of two Maltese rescued by my dad’s wife, Izzy apparently had a rough life years ago and now has what I can only describe as OCD… something I’ve never before seen in a dog. He’s a runt, but he’s cool in his own way. His sister, on the other hand, is quite confident and lively.
Sean, Icarus at ASBC
The Air Force sends its young Lieutenants to a six-week-long course at Maxwell AFB called Air and Space Basic Course. Six weeks of ridiculousness born of easy coursework, 400+ people your age and all the alcohol you can find. It really is a great little break from standard AF shenanigans. Part of that course is the game of Icarus. I won’t bother you with details, but the school has a tournament and a championship for every class that rolls through there. I caught this picture of my buddy Sean Haydo hurtling his opponent’s ball during the final Icarus tournament.
Powerlines in NM
Walking out of Three Rivers Petroglyphs, I captured this image of powerlines running along the main road to the site. I enjoy the overexposure of the sun and the complete underexposure of the subject.
Death Valley from Dante’s Peak
I was browsing my pictures the other day and came across two images that looked like they were taken to be a part of a panorama. I stitched them together and they actually matched up very well. So this photo, folks, is my first multi-shot photo ever. Taken in January 2004 from atop Dante’s Peak, it shows Death Valley running north-south.
