Similar in many respects to the previous picture. This was taken on CC-215 heading northwest between Lone Mountain and Ann Road. It’s a shame cameras can’t fully duplicate the scene our eyes see. That only serves to reinforce the marvel of life, evolution, and the incredible capabilities of the human body. Don’t mind the compression artifacts. Maybe I should let Photoshop resize the image and not the image manipulation software on the server…

Sunset Over Red Rock Canyon
There isn’t much to say about this image. I snagged it recently while headed out to Spring Mountain Ranch State Park which is just south of Red Rock Canyon. Fancy stuff. My favorite part is the light streaming in between the various ridgelines of the mountains.
I’m Moving In
I closed on this house, my house, this past Friday. The bank paid the builder, the title was recorded with the county and I got the keys in the morning on June 23rd. It’s been slow going moving in, but I have all of the essentials in the house. The heavy stuff should be in no later than tomorrow evening. Talk about exciting. I’ll have some tips on buying/building a new home on this site shortly.
