On a whim Jennifer and I went out to Red Rock Canyon for some pictures. I captured a few decent ones, but this one and the following stood out. Some basic post-production has been applied… saturation, sharpening, noise reduction, crop, et cetera.

Jennifer and Erin Around the Fire
I have sweet little firepit in the backyard that doesn’t get used nearly often enough. It saw some action on New Year’s Eve, though, and since that’s where the people were, I was out taking pictures. Challenging environment… gotta run high ISO and hope to remove some of the noise is post-production. That or invest in some quality lighting which I haven’t.

Hello, hello. It’s been a few months since I’ve gotten around to updating here, but that’s how it goes. Getting right back into things… This picture was taken New Year’s Eve at my house.
