I was born in 1982 in a Detroit suburb and shortly thereafter followed my dad to England, his first assignment as a USAF enlistee. My earliest memories are from there and since then I’ve accomplished much. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and will be beginning a Master’s degree shortly. After a two-year stint working in the civilian sector as a system administrator for a large, multi-site medical facility, I am currently employed as a United States Air Force officer and pilot. My current commitment to the US government expires in August of 2019 at which point I may re-up and complete a full twenty years of service to my country. Or maybe not.
My current side project is a web-based statistics application for hockey leagues. The technology demo has received rave reviews and interest in a more complete version. To that end I am currently rewriting the code and attempting to bring the application to a small pool of interested clients. If this proves successful, the software will be expanded into other sports such as basketball, indoor soccer, lacrosse and others.
Something else worth knowing: I am an atheist and an anti-theist. Being something of an intellectual and a slave to cold logic, I cannot support any form of religion. There is no logic in and no evidence for a supernatural being who created life and everything. Instead I choose to base my life on observable facts and honest reasoning. The ideologies of all religions serve only to distance humanity from the glory that is the natural world, the system that created him. They divide us from our fellow man and cause us to focus on our differences instead of our similarities. Religion is harmful to the society of man.
Other minor qualifications… I’ve been a certified SCUBA diver since 2004 and a member of Mensa, the high IQ society, since 2005. Future goals include self-employment, world travel and perhaps elected office. Who knows?
